Application: Electromagnetic (EMI) and Radio Frequency (RFI) Shielding
A variety of metals such as Aluminum and Zinc are routinely applied to gasket areas of electronics enclosures (cabinets, doors, plates,etc), polycarbonate electronics cases and filters to provide EMI and RFI Shielding. These coatings prevent the interference and noise associated with the operation of electronic equipment from exiting or entering an enclosure or casing.
